About the Role

N Consulting Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Markets and Securities Services Operations Technology (MSSOT) Team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering global and local solutions for Global Market Operations to automate and streamline post-trade operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Work Estimates: Develop clear and concise work estimates for the Project Team and assist in the implementation of FXPT and FXPT Calypso.
  • Understand Existing Functionality: Understand the existing FXPT Calypso functionality and communicate it to the Project Team.
  • Categorize Project Requirements: Categorize each project requirement as fully supported, partially supported, or not supported by existing FXPT/FXPT Calypso functionality.
  • Agree on Unique References: Agree on unique references for each requirement with stakeholders.
  • Work with Product Owners: Work with FXPT Product Owners to create effort estimates for each requirement.
  • Facilitate Communication: Facilitate communication among key stakeholders, including communication of work estimates and progress of FXPT/FXPT Calypso implementation.
  • Deliver Functionality: Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and QA colleagues to deliver functionality to production as quickly as possible.
  • Agree on Testing Schedule: Agree with the Project Team on a testing schedule and go-live schedule for each delivery.
  • Manage Delays: Inform stakeholders of expected or unexpected delays and create an action plan to deliver with amended timelines.
  • Define Acceptance Criteria: Work with the Product Owner and QA to define acceptance criteria and test cases for new configurations and functionality.
  • Develop Innovative Solutions: Create logical and innovative solutions that maximize functionality while minimizing effort for all teams.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience with Calypso software, specializing in Business Analysis.
  • FX Post Trade experience, including Confirmations, Settlements, Accounting, and Reconciliations.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including communication, collaboration, presentation, influencing, and negotiation.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills.
  • Proficiency with SQL and Calypso Architecture and data model.
Additional Key Skills
  • A working appreciation of Agile and DevOps.
  • Experience working with people in different time zones with diverse backgrounds.
