About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Software Engineer to join our team at Aker Systems Limited. As a key member of our Agile team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions for our national security and defence clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop cloud-based platforms and services using commercial and open-source technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of services
  • Actively participate in the elaboration and estimation of user stories
  • Maintain operational responsibility for the services owned by the team

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience delivering production-grade cloud solutions
  • Fluent in writing Java coding and experience with JVM-compatible languages
  • Experience with Kafka or similar platforms
  • Experience working in Agile DevSecOps environments and Zero Trust Architecture
