About the Role

Ripjar Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Software Architect to join our Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable software solutions in the cloud and on-premise.

You will work closely with our engineering managers and staff/senior engineers to empower engineers to deliver high-quality software products. Your expertise in cloud computing, software architecture, and technical leadership will be invaluable in shaping our product functionality and technology roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver scalable software solutions in the cloud and on-premise
  • Empower engineers to deliver high-quality software products
  • Contribute to standards, design patterns, and technology approaches across our technical teams
  • Ensure consistent application of architectural decisions and guidelines across Ripjar's software products

Requirements:

  • Strong technical ability with a demonstrable working knowledge of building, implementing, and maintaining complex Cloud/Hybrid/On Premise systems
  • Strong engineering background and natural technical leadership skills
  • Industry expertise in financial crime compliance, preferably in the development of high-performance name screening solutions
  • Experience designing distributed data-intensive systems

Bonus Skills:

  • Expertise in Javascript or Python
  • Experience with AI/ML systems
