About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our new Education and Training Service, based in the heart of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. As Deputy Head of this vital service, you will be responsible for championing personalised support and advocacy for all those impacted by the Grenfell tragedy.

Working closely with families, schools, and the wider community, your team will enhance learning, training, and employment opportunities. You will drive the strategic direction of the Service, ensuring excellence and compassion in delivery, with a significant focus on trauma-informed care.

Key responsibilities will include managing complex cases, supervising your team to embed best practices, and forging partnerships across the Council, Children's Services, education providers, and other local organisations.

Key Requirements

  • Qualified teacher with proven experience of working across several different key stages in a variety of settings
  • Clear understanding of the educational landscape, from early years to postgraduate

  • Resilience, adaptability, and open-mindedness
