Job Title: Advanced Clinical Endoscopist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Clinical Endoscopist to join our endoscopy team at James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality endoscopy services to patients, ensuring excellent patient outcomes and experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake endoscopy procedures with a high level of independence and autonomy.
  • Assess and diagnose gastrointestinal disorders, providing expert clinical leadership and guidance to junior staff.
  • Develop and implement policies, protocols, and guidelines to ensure the delivery of high-quality endoscopy services.
  • Contribute to the training and development of staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Registered healthcare professional with a strong background in gastrointestinal endoscopy.
  • Experience in leading and managing endoscopy services, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex patient data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
