Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology, as accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Experience of working with children and young people with long-term conditions, including those with complex needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a high level of professionalism and emotional resilience
