Clinical Health Psychologist

The Clinical Health Psychology Team provides neuro/psychological assessment, one-to-one and group interventions for individuals who have experienced stroke and their families, alongside collaborative work with multidisciplinary teams in joint sessions, consultation and training. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring high quality care is delivered in a timely manner in line with client needs, our wider services and national guidance.
The team contributes to teaching and provides placements for trainees at different stages of training. In Clinical Health Psychology Services (CHPS) we work in the interface between physical and mental health, which provides unique opportunities for relationship building and service development. Mental Health Liaison, where psychologists have a range of therapeutic interests narrative therapy, systemic approaches, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing and cognitive behavior therapy.
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Clinical Health Psychologist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent and be registered with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist. They will have a strong interest in working in Clinical Health/Liaison settings and have at least two therapeutic modalities that they are practiced in.
