Job Overview

The GAP Group Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Lifting Operations Specialist to join their team. As a Senior TIC Engineer, you will be responsible for the inspection, testing, repair, and maintenance of lifting and working at height equipment. This role involves site-based work, where you will inspect and test equipment, produce reports, and provide certification.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, test, and maintain lifting and working at height equipment
  • Carry out proof load testing on equipment such as runway beams, davit sockets, swing jibs, and lift shaft eyes
  • Provide customers with bespoke solutions to lifting-based queries
  • Maintain the hire fleet, upskill members of the team, and support the lifting depot network

Requirements

  • Manufacturer and industry training (e.g., CSCS, IPAF, Confined Space, Working at Height, PASMA)
  • Competent in accordance with LOLER
  • Valid driving license
