Deputy Store Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Deputy Store Manager to join our team at Lidl. As a Deputy Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager and leading the store team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Lead and inspire the store team to achieve their full potential, providing coaching and development opportunities to support their growth.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, cash processes, and other key performance indicators to ensure the store is running efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with the store team to achieve sales targets, manage stock levels, and maintain a clean and safe store environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of leading and developing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and take ownership of issues.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the store and customers.
