About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support our clients with spinal cord injury and ADHD in their own homes, providing personal care, moving and handling, domestic tasks, and social activities.
  • Utilize your driving skills to support the client's active lifestyle.
  • Work on assignments between 2 weeks long, with regular consistent work and set rolling rotas.
  • Commit to working regularly each month to enable continuity of care for our clients.

Requirements:

  • Kind and caring nature.
  • Flexibility and reliability – continuity of care is imperative for our clients.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience with SCI and ADHD preferred.
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS.

What We Offer:

  • £115 per day on a zero-hour contract.
  • Regular consistent work with set rolling rotas.
  • 25 days annual leave (pro-rata).
