About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Examination Moderator to join our team at Pearson. As an Examination Moderator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our examination processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • To mark examination scripts accurately and consistently, adhering to our pre-defined mark schemes and examination procedures.
  • To submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times, ensuring that our quality standards are maintained.
  • To ensure that milestones for marking are adhered to, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • To complete all administration tasks as specified, ensuring that our processes are efficient and effective.

Requirements

  • You will have one academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, within the relevant qualification subject, and since qualifying as a teacher.
  • You will have a degree or equivalent qualification.
  • You will be a qualified teacher with a high level of subject knowledge.
  • You will have the ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and apply our mark schemes accurately.
