Job Title: Visiting Moderator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Visiting Moderator to join our team at Pearson. As a Visiting Moderator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our examination processes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct moderation of examination scripts and coursework to ensure accuracy and fairness

• Develop and maintain subject expertise to apply mark schemes and assessment criteria

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and quality in examination processes

• Provide feedback and guidance to teachers and examiners on assessment and moderation practices

Requirements:

• A degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area

• Proven experience in teaching and examining in the relevant subject area

• Strong subject knowledge and expertise in the relevant subject area

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
