About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Examination Moderator to join our team at Pearson. As an Examination Moderator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our educational assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • To moderate educational assessments with a high level of subject knowledge and expertise.
  • To ensure that assessments are marked accurately and consistently, adhering to our pre-defined mark scheme.
  • To work well under pressure and meet deadlines, ensuring that milestones for marking are adhered to.
  • To submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times and ensure all administration is completed as specified.

Requirements

  • A degree or equivalent qualification.
  • One academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, within the relevant qualification subject, or since qualifying as a teacher.
  • A high level of subject knowledge and the ability to apply the mark scheme.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
