Our organization, Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, provides high-quality mental health services to the local community. We are seeking an experienced Activity Worker to join our team on Beach Ward at Julian Hospital.

About the Role

We are looking for someone with a passion for delivering person-centered care to individuals with mental health needs. As an Activity Worker, you will be responsible for planning and facilitating activities that promote physical and emotional well-being.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a healthcare setting and hold or be working towards NVQ level 3 in health and social care or equivalent. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver person-centered activities that promote physical and emotional well-being
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to understand and address their needs
