Senior Oracle Developer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Developer to join our team in Hemel Hempstead. As a key member of our project team, you will play a crucial role in the modernisation and convergence of logistics business processes for our Defence clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop complex Oracle applications using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, and Oracle Forms and Reports.
  • Develop REST APIs using Java/PL-SQL and integrate them with Oracle databases.
  • Collaborate with business consultants to generate prototypes and demonstrate them to stakeholders.
  • Participate in low-level application design workshops and contribute to database design activities.
  • Prepare and review design specifications, and construct code based on functional and design specifications.
  • Perform defect analysis and bug fixing, maintaining defect evolution.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Oracle products, with a strong background in medium to complex application software development.
  • Excellent knowledge of core Oracle technologies and tools, including SQL, PL/SQL, APEX, Oracle 12c Forms and Reports, and Oracle 19c Database.
  • Good knowledge of related tools and technologies, such as JavaScript, REST API, JSON, XML, HTML 5, and CSS.
  • Familiarity with Serena Dimensions, GIT lab, or equivalent tools.
