Funding Programmes Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Funding Programmes Administrator to join our team in the Postgraduate Education and Clinical Academic Training section of the School of Clinical Medicine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage postgraduate student funding programmes, working closely with the Funding Programmes Manager to ensure smooth operations and high-quality delivery.
  • Recruit new students for programmes, including planning, advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, and awarding places.
  • Liaise with departments, university areas, and external stakeholders to provide data, information, advice, and guidance.
  • Maintain accurate records and data on students and programmes, analyzing and providing management information, advice, and recommendations.
  • Plan, organize, and deliver training and events related to programmes.
  • Contribute to the development of bids for new or continuation of existing programmes, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Excellent operational and administration skills, with experience in modern communication and data management technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
