Human Resources Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at HQW Aerospace in Plymouth.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an HR role and be familiar with HR processes, terminology, best practices, and payroll administration.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administrative support to the People Team, including assisting with recruitment offers & on-boarding via the in-house applicant tracking system, managing HR-related documentation and payroll admin support.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records, including personal information, attendance, performance data, and payroll records. Ensuring data integrity and confidentiality in compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Coordinating travel arrangements for employees, including booking transportation, accommodations, and other necessary arrangements. Ensuring that all travel arrangements are in line with company policies and cost-effective.
  • Assisting in the planning and coordination of company events, including employee recognition programs, team-building activities and training sessions. Collaborating with various departments to ensure successful event execution.
  • Managing and maintaining the conference room bookings, organising refreshments and maintaining all visitor areas. Managing all visitors sign in/out processes.
  • Assisting with internal communications by drafting and distributing company-wide announcements, HR-related updates, and other relevant materials. Collaborating with the payroll team to communicate payroll-related information to employees.
  • Supporting HR initiatives by assisting with policy implementation, ensuring employees are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures, including payroll-related policies.
