About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team on our 16-bedded mixed-sex adult acute ward. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care, assessment, treatment, and support to individuals experiencing a crisis in their mental and emotional health and wellbeing.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver compassionate and person-centered care to individuals with diverse mental health needs
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the clinical, environmental, and social needs of service users are met
  • Work flexibly across all mental health services as required
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and therapeutic environment

Person Specification
  • 1st level registered nurse, RN (MH), RN (LD) with current NMC Registration
  • Successful completion of preceptorship
  • Good range knowledge/appreciation of models of practice in social and health care, including experience of delivering CBT-based interventions
