About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at St Andrews Northampton. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the therapy team and provide clinical supervision to junior staff
  • Develop and implement occupational therapy programs and interventions
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in continuing professional development and stay up-to-date with best practices in occupational therapy
Requirements
  • Post-registration clinical expertise with a minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Experience working in a secure setting and with individuals with mental health needs
  • Specialist training in occupational therapy and ongoing CPD
  • Ability to apply and promote OT skills, including carrying out assessments and facilitating interventions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
