**Job Title:** Production Manufacturing Supervisor

We are looking for a skilled Workshop Manager to join our team and contribute to the success of our company in the Heat Treatment industry.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have experience working within the heat treatment industry, managing teams, planning production schedules, and preparing equipment. They will also have excellent communication skills, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 3 to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Plan, communicate and execute a production schedule
  • Prepare equipment such as vacuum furnaces and ensure production settings are accurate
  • Perform some hands-on work within the factory as needed
  • Manage works orders using the production system and ensure costs are recorded accurately
  • Communicate with customers regarding job status and provide technical input as needed
  • Work with internal stakeholders to achieve quality standards
  • Collaborate with the line manager and sales manager to drive business growth

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience working with metals
  • Experience in a production manufacturing environment
  • ISO 9001 quality management standard certification
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • IT skills and proficiency in ERP systems
  • Team leadership or supervisory experience
