About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Care Support Worker to join our team. As a Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and reablement care to an adult male in the community with an acquired spinal injury.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care as needed, including catheter care
- Support the client to mobilise using a wheelchair
- Accompany the client to appointments and outings as advised
- Provide emotional support and companionship to the client
- Work collaboratively with the client's multidisciplinary team (MDT) to support their rehabilitation
Requirements:
- 6+ months experience in care or support role
- Valid driving license and access to a vehicle
- Physical ability to support clients with mobility needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
