About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Care Support Worker to join our team. As a Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and reablement care to an adult male in the community with an acquired spinal injury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care as needed, including catheter care
  • Support the client to mobilise using a wheelchair
  • Accompany the client to appointments and outings as advised
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to the client
  • Work collaboratively with the client's multidisciplinary team (MDT) to support their rehabilitation

Requirements:

  • 6+ months experience in care or support role
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle
  • Physical ability to support clients with mobility needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
