Care Support Worker

We are seeking a Care Support Worker to join our team in Dover to support an adult male with an acquired spinal injury in the community.
The ideal candidate will be a driver with a manual license to support the client with transportation as needed.
The role involves assisting with personal care, mobilization, and engaging in activities with the client in and around the community.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get into the care industry with no prior experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting with Personal Care: The successful candidate will be required to assist with catheter care and other personal care tasks as needed.
Mobilization and Transportation: The candidate will need to be able to assist the client with mobilization and transportation using a wheelchair.
Engaging in Activities: The role involves engaging in activities with the client in and around the community, such as attending appointments, going to pubs, and participating in outdoor activities.
RequirementsQualifications: No prior care experience is required, but the candidate must be a driver with a manual license.
Skills: The ideal candidate will be energetic, have an interest in outdoor activities, and be able to engage with the client in a supportive and non-judgmental manner.
Training: Training will be provided for catheter care and other aspects of the role as needed.
