We are seeking a highly experienced Fire and Rescue Inspector to join our team at CRG TEC. As a Fire and Rescue Inspector, you will be responsible for leading safety inspections and assurance activities, planning and delivering emergency test exercises, and advising other groups on fire safety and emergency rescue matters.
Key Responsibilities- Lead safety inspections and assurance activities to ensure procedures remain fit for purpose in light of technological and infrastructure advances.
- Plan and deliver emergency test exercises to ensure effective response to emergencies.
- Advise other groups on fire safety and emergency rescue matters, including government departments, Eurostar, and emergency services.
- Coordinate and collaborate with the French side of the Channel Tunnel to ensure seamless fire and rescue provision.
- Experience in emergency planning, ideally fire-related, within confined spaces.
- Security Check clearance, requiring UK residency for the past 5 years.
- Ability to work onsite in Folkestone and attend meetings in London, Calais, and Paris.
- Competitive salary of £52,344 - £61,521 (pro-rata).
- 25 days holiday (raising to 30 with length of service).
