Flexible Nursery Practitioner Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our Private Day Nursery on a flexible basis. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children aged 0-5.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the daily care and development of children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
  • Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that promotes children's learning and development.
  • Engage in activities that encourage children's creativity, social skills, and emotional intelligence.
  • Build strong relationships with children, staff, and families to foster a sense of community and support.
  • Support children with their individual needs, including feeding, changing, and promoting independence.
  • Work flexibly across different rooms and age groups as required, ensuring a seamless and high-quality service.
  • Ensure the nursery's policies and procedures, including safeguarding, are followed at all times.
About You:
  • A passion for working with young children and supporting their early development.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, but relevant experience and a positive attitude are essential.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
  • A patient, caring, and positive attitude, with a commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
