Flexible Nursery Practitioner

**About the Role**

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our Private Day Nursery on a flexible basis. As a key member of our team, you will provide support in various areas of the nursery, ensuring that each child receives the best possible care and education.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Support the daily care and development of children aged 0-5 in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
* Engage in activities that encourage children's learning and development, such as arts and crafts, outdoor play, and storytelling.
* Build strong relationships with children, staff, and families to foster a sense of community within the nursery.
* Support children with their individual needs, including feeding, changing, and promoting independence.
* Work flexibly across different rooms and age groups as required.
* Ensure the nursery's policies and procedures, including safeguarding, are followed at all times.

**Requirements**

* A passion for working with young children and supporting their early development.
* A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
* A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential – relevant experience will be considered.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work well within a team.
* A patient, caring, and positive attitude.
* Willingness to engage in ongoing training and professional development.
