We are seeking a skilled Performing Arts Educator to join our team at Vision for Education - Liverpool. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality arts and culture programs to students in secondary schools across the Liverpool, Sefton, and Wirral areas.
Key Responsibilities- Teach pre-set Key Stage 3/4 students in a variety of secondary schools
- Manage an average class size in the absence of a teacher
- Work with children aged from 11 through to 16 years old
- Deliver engaging and interactive arts and culture programs
- Collaborate with teachers and other education professionals to ensure a seamless learning experience
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- A minimum of 5 days experience working in sole charge of a group of children in the last 10 years
- Strong communication skills with the ability to quickly build a good rapport with students and staff
- A passion for working with children, in a calm and authoritative manner
- Have, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS Check that is on the Update Service
