Job Title: Teacher of Science

Job Type: Fixed Term / Full Time (Maternity Cover)

Location: Huyton

Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 Per Annum

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher of Science to join our team at an outstanding school in Huyton. As a Science Educator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging science lessons at both Key Stage 3 and 4, ensuring that the learning experience for all pupils is well matched to their educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• To plan and deliver science lessons that cater to the diverse needs of pupils.
• To establish and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• To set high expectations for pupils' behaviour and academic performance.
• To use assessment information to inform planning and maximize pupils' progress.
• To provide constructive feedback and set targets to support pupils' development.
• To contribute to the development and evaluation of Schemes of Work across both Key Stages.

Requirements:

• To hold a degree and Qualified Teacher status.
• To have experience teaching science up to GCSE standard.
• To possess a high level of specialist subject knowledge.
• To be an enthusiastic and outstanding classroom practitioner.
• To be willing to contribute to the wider life of the Academy.
