Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Pertemps Education is seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as SEN Teaching Assistants in the Thetford area of Norfolk.

About the Role:

We are looking for support staff to work with children aged 4-19 with a range of special needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, SLCN, MLD, Epilepsy, and Dyslexia. The successful applicant will have experience working with special needs children, although we will consider those with experience outside of the classroom or working with adults with learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting children with special needs in a full-time capacity
  • Assisting with lesson planning and implementation
  • Providing individualized support to students
  • Collaborating with teachers and other support staff
  • Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment
