Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Pertemps Network Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at an independent SEN school in the Thetford area of Norfolk.

About the Role:

We are looking for a support staff member to work with children aged 4-19 with a range of special needs, including Autism (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Social Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH), Speech Language and Communication needs (SLCN), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Epilepsy, Dyslexia, and other complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting children with their educational and personal needs
  • Assisting with lesson planning and delivery
  • Providing one-to-one support and small group work
  • Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with special needs
  • Ability to provide emotional support and stability to children
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Please note that this is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be required to work from 08:30-15:45, with breaks in the morning and afternoon. Lunch is provided for all staff.
