Nuclear Medicine Physics Team Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Scientist to join our Nuclear Medicine Physics team in NHS Lothian. As a key member of our team, you will provide MPE support for clinical nuclear medicine departments across the South-East Region of Scotland.

The successful candidate will be a state-registered Clinical Scientist with knowledge across a range of working procedures and practices in Nuclear Medicine. You will work closely with our team to provide scientific, technical, and clinical support to various clinical services using radioactive materials.

Our Nuclear Medicine Physics section provides a range of clinical services directly to patients, including delivery of Molecular Radiotherapy (MRT) and DEXA. We strive to provide high-quality, safe, effective, and person-centred healthcare, continually improving clinical outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide MPE support for clinical nuclear medicine departments
  • Work closely with the team to provide scientific, technical, and clinical support
  • Deliver Molecular Radiotherapy (MRT) and DEXA services
  • Contribute to the development of clinical services and procedures

Requirements:

  • State-registered Clinical Scientist
  • Knowledge of working procedures and practices in Nuclear Medicine
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and supportive environment

Working Hours: 37 hours per week
