Join Our Team as a Principal Civil Structures Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Civil Structures Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in shaping our exciting projects and contributing to the success of our organization.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team to undertake technical design work, managing time and budgets to key project milestones, and working closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions. You will also be responsible for adhering to quality assurance standards in design and ensuring that all work is completed to a high-quality level.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes.
  2. Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
  3. Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  4. Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
  5. Sound knowledge in design and analysis of heavy concrete and steel structures, and familiarity with current design standards and working practices.
  6. Proficiency in designing with appropriate structural analysis packages.
  7. Experience in the nuclear sector, particularly in the design and implementation of safety-related structures, systems and components.
