About the Role

This critical position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all warehouse facilities, aligning with company objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and implementing strategic warehouse and logistics plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive warehouse and logistics strategies that drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels across all locations, leveraging procurement strategies and technology.
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain robust asset management systems to track and manage company assets effectively.
  • Collaborate with various departments to forecast inventory needs, manage obsolescence, and plan for peak periods.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and optimize workflows.
  • Promote effective supply chain partnerships to optimize transportation costs and delivery times.
  • Leverage technology to enhance inventory management and logistics operations, driving productivity and accuracy.
  • Prepare and manage the warehouse budget, reporting on performance metrics and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Ensure the safe operation of spaces within warehouse facilities, maintaining up-to-date H&S briefings and logs for visitors and employees.
  • Develop a long-term warehousing and logistics strategy aligned with the company's vision and policies.
Requirements:

To succeed in this challenging role, you will need:

  • A proven track record in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in managing inventory across multiple locations, leveraging technology and data-driven insights.
  • A strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency in warehouse and inventory management systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
