About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Educational Support Specialist to join our team at Compass Community School Vicarage Park. As a specialist in educational support, you will play a vital role in ensuring that students with complex needs receive the best possible education.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individualized support to students, working closely with teachers and therapists to develop personalized learning plans. You will also be involved in managing classroom resources, taking students on trips and visits, and having lunch with students who struggle socially.

A key aspect of this role is your ability to manage heightened behaviors and keep students safe. You will need to be resilient, persistent, and solution-focused to meet the needs of our students.

We offer extensive training and professional qualification opportunities, regular therapeutic and supportive supervision, and a life assurance scheme. The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per year.
