Job Summary

Anord Mardix, a leading global company, is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for maintaining relations with suppliers, placing orders for raw materials and purchased parts, and receiving and handling confirmations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain relations with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Place orders for raw materials and purchased parts according to production requirements.
  • Receive and handle confirmations from suppliers.
  • Check purchase orders and modify them as needed to ensure accuracy.
  • Track shipments and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Regularly check inventory levels to avoid overstocking.
  • Minimize the risk of obsolescence by monitoring inventory levels and supplier lead times.
  • Correspond with freight forwarders, warehouses, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics.
  • Deal with claims and resolve any debit or credit issues.
  • Filing and recording all necessary documents.
  • Check inventory levels of critical materials and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Handle purchasing data privacy and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Assure timely delivery of active components according to production needs.
  • Review requisitions and MRP output to ensure accuracy.
  • Confer with vendors to obtain product information and negotiate prices.
  • Order, reschedule, and cancel material as needed based on requisitions and MRP output.
  • Maintain procurement records, including items purchased, costs, delivery, and inventory levels.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and price expectations are met.
  • Approve invoices for payment and investigate inventory levels as needed.
  • Monitor the movement of materials through the production cycle.
  • Conduct quarterly supplier reviews to ensure quality and delivery expectations are met.

Requirements:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 1 to 2 years of procurement experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and present information to customers, clients, and colleagues.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, including discounts, interest, and commissions.
