Job Summary

Anord Mardix, a leading global company, is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with suppliers, placing orders for raw materials and purchased parts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Place orders for raw materials and purchased parts according to production requirements
  • Receive and handle confirmations
  • Check purchase orders and modify them according to changes in production plans
  • Track shipments and urge them if necessary
  • Regularly check inventory levels to avoid overstocking
  • Minimize the risk of obsolescence by checking weekly obsolete reports
  • Correspond with freight forwarders, warehouses, and organize transportation as needed
  • Deal with claims and settle debit and credit issues
  • Filing and recording all necessary documents
  • Check inventory of critical materials according to the Shortage List
  • Get in touch with warehouse personnel to resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Handle purchasing data privacy
  • Ensure all active components are available according to production needs, in time, for the agreed price
  • Review requisitions and MRP output
  • Confer with vendors to obtain product information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule
  • Order, reschedule, and cancel material based on requisitions and MRP output
  • Maintain procurement records such as items purchased, costs, delivery, and inventories
  • Manage supplier to price, delivery, and quality expectations and escalate when necessary
  • Approve invoices for payment
  • Investigate inventory levels
  • Monitor the movement of materials through the production cycle
  • Conduct quarterly supplier reviews
  • Maintain procurement records, reports, and metrics

Requirements:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 1 to 2 years of procurement experience
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • English language knowledge
  • Data entry skills
  • Ten-key skills
  • Spreadsheet skills (PC)
  • ERP software skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts
  • Ability to apply common sense comprehension to carry out instructions
