Deputy Ward Manager/Charge Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our team as a Deputy Ward Manager/Charge Nurse at a leading healthcare facility in Burgess Hill.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure high standards of care for patients' mental and physical health.
  • Act as a role model and provide leadership to junior staff.
  • Work effectively as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team.
  • Support recruitment and retention efforts.
  • Commit to supervision, appraisal, and Continuous Professional Development.
  • Oversee Care Plans, Risk Assessments, and report writing.
  • Understand Mental Health Act Legislation and statutory regulations.
  • Manage staffing, skill mix, and lead shifts.
