We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Practitioner to join our team at The Prince of Wales Surgery in Dorchester. As a key member of our primary care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, providing assessment, treatment, and health education services.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic nurse to work in a fast-paced primary care environment. You will be working closely with our experienced team to provide excellent patient care and contribute to the development of our clinical services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessment and treatment services to patients, including cytology, wound and ulcer care, and management of chronic diseases.
  • Work collaboratively with the primary care team to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to the continuous improvement of our clinical services.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse currently registered with the NMC.
  • Experience of primary care, preferably with a focus on childhood and travel vaccinations, cytology, and woundcare.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including 6 weeks annual leave pro rata, full paid indemnity cover, and opportunities for professional development and training.
