Role Overview

As a Learning Support Assistant at Ribbons and Reeves, you will be working closely with a dedicated SEN student in a Good rated secondary school in Barking & Dagenham. Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support to the student, helping them to engage and participate in lessons, and encouraging their progress and attainment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 support to the SEN student in the classroom and throughout the school day.
  • Work closely with the SEN team to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Support the student's engagement and participation in lessons.
  • Assist with behaviour management and help implement strategies to promote positive behaviour.

Requirements
  • 1:1 or 2:1 degree from a leading UK university.
  • Previous experience working with SEN children is preferred.
  • Enthusiastic, confident, and proactive approach to learning support.

Contract Details
  • Full-time, term-time only role.
  • Opportunity to gain valuable experience working in education.
