Job Description
Galileo is looking for a highly skilled Renewable Energy Project Lead to join our team in Edinburgh or Cardiff. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the connection and commissioning of new grid connections as part of new renewable energy project construction.

Key responsibilities include appointing and managing consultants to submit Transmission and Distribution grid connection applications for generation sites, Battery Energy Storage Sites, and seeking amendments to existing applications for co-location of BESS and generating technologies.

You will also manage relationships with Network operators DNOs /TNOs /NGET, maintain awareness of grid connection reform, and prepare for upcoming changes. The successful candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering, experience in grid connections, and strong communication skills. We offer a salary range of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, flexible and hybrid working arrangements, private medical insurance, pension, and company events.
