The Opportunity

We are expanding our team to meet increasing client needs and are looking to recruit a Renewable Energy Projects Specialist. As a member of our speciality renewable energy team, you will work alongside market-leading experts providing regulatory and commercial legal advice on an enviable diet of complex and engaging projects.

Job Description

As a Renewable Energy Projects Specialist, you will have direct involvement in bringing innovative and nationally significant projects to fruition. You will be part of a Tier 1 ranked team known for being one of the largest Projects Departments outside of London, with specialists singled out as 'leaders in their fields' (Legal 500, 2024). The Partners have a wealth of experience to impart and are very approachable and collaborative.

Requirements
  • Rlevant, practical experience providing regulatory and commercial legal advice on large-scale projects.
  • Able to manage a complex and varied workload effectively.
  • Be self-motivated and willing to learn.
  • Demonstrable experience or interest within any of our key sectors (Energy, Defence, Sustainable Transport/Infrastructure, or public procurement).
  • Must be a SRA or Law Society of Scotland registered lawyer.

What You'll Earn

This role comes with a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including bonus, pension, and professional development opportunities.
