About the Role

The NHS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Occupational Therapy department and providing specialist occupational therapy input to clients referred to Mildmay Mission Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

">

As a Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing highly specialist occupational therapy input to clients referred to both the ward and Day Therapy.

  • Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to meet the needs of clients referred to Mildmay Mission Hospital.

  • Maintaining up-to-date clinical written records and electronic database in accordance with local and professional standards.

  • Leading on and producing audit and research in own area.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy.

  • Evidence of postgraduate level study/training.

  • Registration with the HCPC as an occupational therapist.

  • Practice Education training.

  • Management/Leadership training.

  • Training in the use of standardised occupational therapy assessment tools.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £52,000 - £62,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including a generous pension scheme and opportunities for career development.
