Senior Site Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Site Manager to oversee the management of designated development projects at Sherford, a new market town under construction in South Devon.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a large-scale development that will provide 5,500 new homes over the next decade.

About the Role

  • Responsible for directing resources and managing designated development projects to achieve project completion within quality and specification parameters.
  • Achieve project completion on time and within budget by effectively utilising available resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct labour, plant, staff, and equipment to ensure plot and project completion meets quality and specification standards.
  • Monitor site team performance against contract targets and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with Group Safety Policy and Health and Safety Regulations.
  • Develop skills and attitudes of managers to create a high-morale working environment.

Requirements

  • Valid SMSTS certificate and First Aid at Work certificate.
  • Proven background in new build housing site management and timber frame construction.
  • Ability to manage projects, deliver quality work on time, and within budget.
