Lead Infrastructure Development Role

We are recruiting for a Lead Infrastructure Development role, focusing on the upgrade of Devonport Dockyard. As a key member of our client's Regional Civils team, you will lead the delivery of this complex project.

About the Role:

This exciting opportunity involves managing the lifecycle of the project, from initial planning to handover. You will oversee an experienced team, ensuring efficient project execution, cost control, and compliance with Health and Safety Guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project resources effectively, prioritizing tasks and allocating responsibilities to ensure timely completion.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, providing regular project updates and ensuring open communication channels.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, ensuring project objectives are met while maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Oversee the management of subcontractors, promoting effective teamwork and collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, detailing project progress and any challenges encountered.

The ideal candidate will possess a BSc/MSc in Civil Engineering/Construction Management or equivalent experience, along with excellent Health and Safety knowledge and a valid CSCS/SMSTS card. Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills are also essential, with preference given to those ascending from an engineering background.
