We are seeking an exceptional People Services Manager to lead our team in providing high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and other support needs.

Job Overview

This role is responsible for fostering a culture of excellence, ensuring top-tier service delivery through dynamic leadership and support practices. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our Operational Leader, shaping a holistic approach that prioritises both the wellbeing of our employees and the quality of care provided to the people we support.

About The Action Group

The Action Group was established in 1976 by parents and carers of people with learning disabilities and other support needs. Our mission is to value, listen, and involve people to ensure every action is judged as the best. We aim to provide and improve learning disability care, promoting choice and opportunity for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster positive and trusting relationships with individuals we support, their families, carers, and fellow employees.
  • Support and develop a team of support workers who can lead on the goals of person-centred support through regular management contact time, practice observations, coaching, development of skills, and using the quality conversations framework.
  • Develop a culture within the team where learning and innovation is a positive and service delivery is always seeking to improve.
Requirements
  • SQM Level 3 or SSSC Registration.
  • Experience in social care or a related field, with a primary focus on staff well-being, practice development, and compliance monitoring.
  • Strong values of equality and non-judgment.
  • A commitment to person-centred practice and involvement of people we support in all aspects of their lives and service.

Salary: £30,869.70 - £32,394.88 per annum pro rata.
