Public Sector Resourcing is seeking a Supply Chain Lead to join their team on a 5-month contract. The role will involve supporting the National Security Lead in the Security Control Centre to develop requirements for physical security across the DWP Estate.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop requirements for physical security across the DWP Estate, working closely with the National Security Lead and the Supply Chain Management team.
  2. Assist in monitoring the SCC Contract delivery, working closely with the Supply Chain Management team and the department's integrator.
  3. Create lasting relationships with DWP Service Delivery supply chain partners to ensure the required service is delivered by our SCC Supplier.
  4. Support DWP Estates security managers, Physical Risk & Security Team, supply chain management team, and Estates field managers to ensure all SCC functions are delivered to the required standard and within the required timescales.
  5. Manage the relationship for Service Delivery with DWP commercial teams regarding any SCC contract changes and/or required improvements.
  6. Assist in the delivery of the SCC security contract, systems, and manned guarding provision, through mobilisation and into operational implementation.
  7. Track, create and assure all reports that come from the SCC, while working with the SCC supplier and other department stakeholders to ensure any data/reporting required is provided.
  8. Remain alert to emerging issues and trends which might impact your work area, identifying risks and resolving issues efficiently.
  9. Provide representation within Security Digital Networking forums to provide input into projected initiatives/projects.
  10. Reporting and management relationships.
  11. Demonstrable experience in a FM/premises/property related role aiding in programme rollout and management of supply chain partners to achieve goals.
  12. CAFM and management information reporting experience supporting programme rollout and BAU site operation.
  13. Experience in providing detailed reports and presentations for a range of DWP and supply chain stakeholders.
  14. Making risk-based decisions prior to determining the most appropriate intervention.
