Job Title: Sustainable Transportation Specialist

We are looking for a talented Transport Planner to join our team at Access Talent Group in the UK. As a Transport Planner, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient and sustainable transportation systems for our clients.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a solid understanding of relevant local and national policy and guidance. They should also have experience in development-focused Transport Planning and hold a degree in Transport Engineering, Geography, or Transport Planning.

This full-time role is a permanent contract, located in Yorkshire, with an estimated annual salary of £44,000. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing transportation plans and strategies, conducting site access appraisals, and preparing transport notes, statements, and assessments.

About the Job:

  • Implement transportation plans and strategies for civil engineering projects
  • Conduct site access appraisals and develop transport notes, statements, and assessments
  • Prepare reports and presentations using Excel, Word, and GIS software
  • Collaborate with clients and project managers to ensure project delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
  • Contribute to company-wide bids and framework agreements
  • Assist in business development and growth initiatives

Candidate Requirements:

  • Formal education in Transport Engineering, Geography, or Transport Planning
  • Experience in development-focused Transport Planning
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
