Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Resilience Personnel Ltd. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents in a care home setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Personal Care and Support: Assist residents with their personal care needs, including washing, dressing, toileting, and other daily living activities.
  • Daily Living Activities: Support residents with their daily routines, such as meals, hobbies, socializing, and other activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Emotional and Physical Comfort: Provide emotional and physical comfort and companionship to residents, helping to create a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Observation and Reporting: Observe and report any changes in residents' health and well-being to ensure their safety and quality of care.
  • Compliance and Adherence: Adhere to our agency's policies and procedures, including compliance, safeguarding, health and safety, and other relevant guidelines.

Requirements

  • Experience and Qualifications: A minimum of 6 months of experience as a care assistant, preferably in a care home setting, and a passion for providing person-centered care.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as per our agency's rota.
  • Positive Attitude and Continuous Improvement: A positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement, with a focus on enhancing the quality of life of our residents.
  • DBS Check: A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
