About the Role
We are seeking a skilled SAP consultant to join our team at Birchman. As a consultant, you will work with existing customers to help them get the most out of their SAP investment, and have the opportunity to work on S4/HANA projects.

Birchman is a leading independent SAP Partner in the UK, known for our expertise in Digital Transformation and Continuous Business Improvement. We have a driven team of experts who are passionate about delivering measurable results and exceeding customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into detailed architecture design and deliver the requirements by developing or enhancing previous versions or user tools.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary SAP Delivery Team to deliver SAP module solutions from design, configuration, development through to implementation, support and training.
- Provide consultancy to Birchman's existing customer installations.
- Manage relationships with clients, gathering requirements, conducting analysis and studies, and preparing design documentation.
- Advise on solution design, system configuration, testing, user training, data conversion, documentation, integration, and Go Live Support.
- Develop best practice SAP customisation and configuration that meets client requirements and needs.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure solution delivery provides enhanced customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that Birchman's project management processes and standards are applied, maintained, or escalated appropriately if required.
- Contribute to new business development or on-selling opportunities as necessary.
- Design and deliver relevant workshops, team lead more junior consultants, and provide coaching and training as required.
- Create comprehensive documentation around solution development to enable knowledge sharing and user training.
Requirements
- Involvement in two or more SAP projects at a process and functional level.
- Some to excellent hands-on functional configuration or technical development experience across one or more SAP modules, including full end-to-end project lifecycles.
- Business process experience.
- Knowledge of SAP integration across different modules.
- Keenness to contribute to Birchman's offerings, methodologies, and ongoing improvement of supporting tools.
- The ability to build customer-oriented collaborative relationships, working in partnership to deliver effectively.
- Strong communication, influencing skills, and team working capability.
- Flexibility and the ability to travel within the UK and internationally when required.
