Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Specialist to join our team in delivering a high-quality and effective Targeted Lung Health Check service. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying asymptomatic individuals, providing early diagnosis of lung cancer and other lung diseases, and delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver TLHC appointments to patients and generate onward referrals to low-dose CT for high-risk patients
  • Provide specialist knowledge and care to patients and their carers
  • Provide education and training to patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals
  • Work autonomously engaging with the wider TLHC teams as needed in the pathway
  • Support the Team Lead with all essential clinical administration duties relevant to support the role and effective running of the programme
