About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Control Manager to join our team at EDF. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance and optimizing business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate financial risks, and optimize business processes.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, business leaders, and external partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Strong commercial and business acumen, with a proven track record of driving financial performance and business growth.
  • Qualified accountant with credentials from a recognized UK Professional Organization (e.g., ICAEW, ICAS, CIMA).
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and drive business insights.
  • Familiarity with financial planning and analysis tools, such as SAP, Anaplan, PowerBI, and ECOSYS.
